Alzheimer’s Association Fremont Pub Crawl Fundraiser

Seattle, WA – August 10, 2011-  The Western & Central Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association announced the date of their second annual Ales for Alzheimer’s event, set to take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the Fremont neighborhood. Due to the overwhelming success of their first Ales for Alzheimer’s event in March, the organization will now hold two pub crawls per year in different neighborhoods throughout the greater Seattle area. All proceeds directly support the Association’s free programs and services, including a 24-hour helpline, care consultation services, educational training for caregivers, and plentiful support groups throughout Western and Central Washington.

The cost to participate in this fundraiser is $40, which covers event registration,  10-8 oz. beers and an Ales for Alzheimer’s t-shirt.  Continue reading →
